My OGT’s – Updated as of 11/02

I want to keep a list of my Obviously Gay Traits here that I’ll update periodically as I remember what some of them are.

– I want to be a wedding planner.

– I want to be an interior designer.

– I love “What not to wear” – and I am in fact watching it right now.

– Although I am happy to be a man and don’t want to be a woman – nor do I think I am a woman trapped in a man’s body – I think women’s clothing is fascinating.  I don’t want to wear it, but I love seeing a very well dressed woman.  I think this goes along with my love for “What not to wear”.

– I like to wear hemp around my ankle.

– I played with Barbies as a kid.

– I know how to sew and I make beanies out of socks.  That sounds weird, but they are cool, I promise.

– I go to Yoga classes.

– I LOVE foreign films.

– I love going to live sporting events, even though I don’t usually know what is going on.  Yelling makes me feel manly, plus I get to see good looking guys doing manly things.

– Music is a huge part of my life – piano, choir, musicals, opera, everything.

– I like to change up my hair often with dye and different haircuts.

– I love having tea parties/being part of “finer things” clubs.

– I’m a big fan of Alanis Morisette, and have been since the first time I heard her.

– I go to Ikea every time I get the chance – thanks for the reminder, Ryan 🙂

– I used to dance around the living room to Enya’s “Orinoco Flow” when I was a kid.

– Like the “You Might be a MoHo If…” list says, I really am the fastest little gift wrapper Deseret Book has ever seen.  Really though, I am.  You should see me and the surprised look on the customers face when they see how fast I am.

– I have an uncanny obsession with butterflies.  If I could, I would make my car into a home for butterflies.  I tried it once and killed a butterfly that got sucked into the vents – and then when I turned the A/C on, bits of the butterfly flew out.  It was really tragic.

– I used to love Harriet the Spy as a kid (which is maybe not a gay trait is much as it is just being weird) and I kept a notebook to write secrets about people in.  I secretly hoped that people would find it and read which would cause a lot of drama.  And then it happened, and I lost a lot of friends.

– I love Anne of Green Gables.  A  lot.

– As a child I would skip around the house saying “I’m gay!  I’m gay!”, which of course means happy….

– On my mission, one of my apartments was equipped with a breakfast nook.  It was freaking awesome!
